Our Mission
A little about our direction, goals and why they are important to us.
Our mission is to build and enable a thriving XR community here in Tokyo and act as a gateway to spread the word globally.
We are developing a community with positive impact for its members and contributors - a hub for learning, inspiration, and finding project collaborators.
We want XR Tokyo to become a platform that showcases the work happening in Japan's XR sector both domestically and internationally.
How do we do this?
For us, there are two key parts to make this happen. These are Community and Reach, form the basis for everything we do.
Community
The community is the absolute heart of XR Tokyo. We are working to build a community that is collaborative, inclusive and supportive.
One that connects people allowing them to find collaborators, mentors, and people to help take their ideas to the next level.
Reach
Globally, Japan has a strong reputation for technology and our goal is to help build that same reputation for its XR scene.
Through social media, we plan to tell people around the world are excited about the exciting work being done here, from small one person projects all the way up to the work being done by the big names.
